Services
We consult and provide services that will maximize the profit on the sale of your home. It is statistically proven that professionally staged homes sell faster and for more money.
Consultation
We Create a Checklist:
Just contemplating on what needs to be done to prepare your home for the market can be overwhelming. The first step in preparing your home for sale is to meet with us so we can create a detailed and organized checklist of what could be improved upon.
Prioritize and Budget:
Working from the checklist, you decide what you can do yourself, and/or what we can help you with. We can do as little or as much as you would like. We work with your budget and time table. All homeowners can benefit from our services regardless of the size of their budget. We have services that range from guidance to full service staging.
Staging Assessment Checklist:
We tour the property with you examining the exterior and interior of your home. We use a Staging Assessment Checklist (SAC) to make note of what is needed. After this walk through, we will share our recommendations with you. We charge $165 for this two hour consultation. (See “Specials” page for promotional discounts)
The cost includes:
- providing you with a organized, comprehensive list of actions to be taken to ready your home for sale
- a guide on how to prioritize these actions to meet your needs based on your time frame and budget
- an estimated project cost if you were to use the services of Stage Right to meet your goals
If you chose at that point to prepare your home for sale yourself, then you can use the SAC as a guide. If you would like our help, we will provide you with a project quote for our services. The cost of our service varies by the scope and size of each evaluation we do.
Below is a list of the services we provide:
- decluttering and depersonalizing (removing and storing personal items such as family photos that can distract buyers)
- updating fixtures and other home elements to modernize the home to appeal to a broader range of homebuyers
- editing and rearranging furniture to show off the space in a room and highlight focal points
- applying redesign principles by using items you already have in your home, and rearranging them for the most impact
- minor home improvements and landscaping
- accessorize from our inventory and/or a rental company in order to highlight the home’s best assets.
Vacant Home Staging
A vacant home with no furniture is cold and uninviting. We stage a vacant home with furniture and accessories arranged with vignettes. We have an inventory of furniture and accessories that we make available to our clients through short-term lease. Occasionally we will work with a furniture rental company to provide clients with large-scale pieces that we do not warehouse such as buffets and armoires.
Vacant home staging begins with a walk through and consultation. After a list of recommended actions, we will choose items and place them in the appropriate arrangement that best shows your home's attributes and highlights its space. From our inventory we will add accessories including place settings, linens, and even inflatable beds if you chose to stage the bedrooms.
Referal Service
Home Repairs:
As part of the initial walk through and consultation, the need for home repairs may be discovered*. Stage Right works closely with Concord-area contractors to provide fast, reliable and affordable repairs by plumbers, carpenters and electricians who are licensed and bonded.
*We recommend that all home owners who are putting their homes on the market have a pre-sale inspection from a licensed inspector.
Cleaning services:
Houses that are professionally cleaned and maintained are attractive to buyers. Stage Right can recommend reliable and bonded home cleaners for a one-time cleaning or ongoing services while your home is on the market
